The property

This lovely and welcoming detached cottage is situated just a ten minute walk from the heart of the medieval city of Kilkenny.

From this comfortable cottage there?s plenty to see and do for everyone in your party, and your holiday home makes a great base for families or groups of friends.

Once inside this cottage you will find on the ground floor a well-equipped kitchen, where you can whip up a hearty meal before setting out to explore the area, and why not prepare a tasty picnic to take with you?

In the sitting room there?s an open fire, so on a cold evening, light the fire and sit back and relax with a good book.

There?s also a bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor, whilst on the first floor are three bedrooms, including one with the convenience of an en-suite, and completing the accommodation is a shower room.

Outside is a patio and off road parking for three cars and across the road is a park, playground and multi-use games area.

The popular city of Kilkenny boasts a large number of shops, pubs and restaurants, along with Kilkenny Castle, St Canice's Cathedral and Rothe House.

The gardens at Woodstock and Jerpoint Abbey near Thomastown are within reach, and further afield are Waterford, Hook Head Peninsula and Dublin.

An excellent base with plenty to see and do.
