    “Bofin was a lovely cottage to stay in, situated in the perfect spot with very helpful owners.”

    We absolutely loved our stay here and would stay here again. The beds were comfortable and the sofas too. There was plenty of privacy and space to sit outside if we wanted. I really enjoyed sitting on the stoop at the back to watch the sunrise with a cuppa in my hand - beautiful!! The only little comment I would say is that some more kitchen utensils would be helpful, especially dessert and serving spoons!!

The traditional village of Oughterard is found in the west of Ireland on the shores of Lough Corrib, at the start of the Connemara Mountain range and close to the famous Western Way. Home to the Oughterard 18-hole championship golf course, Derroura Mountain Bike Trail and Aughnanure Castle, there are lots of things to see and do, and located next to Lough Corrib, Oughterard is great for lovers of fishing. Just a short drive away in Roscahil is the pretty Brigit's Garden; with four main gardens and places to play, sit and relax, this is a great day out for all the family.
