    “This is a great cottage; large, very well equipped and very comfortable.”

    There is everything in the kitchen to prepare meals. We were just two us for a week so we did not use the dishwasher, washing machine or dryer but it's nice to know they are there. The location is fantastic, easy access to all of the wonderful Donegal coast via the Harry Blaney Bridge and to Inishowen via the Swilly Ferry. Letterkenny is just over 30 minutes away. Lots of good pubs and food in the immediate area.

Awaken to explore the surrounding countryside, starting with strolls around Kincrum Lough, before making your way towards the coast, reaching the Wild Atlantic Way Discovery Point - Ballyhiernan Bay, and the characterful Fanad Head Lighthouse.

Travelling south, stop off at Portsalon for a stroll across the beach or to practise your swing at Portsalon Golf Club, whilst Doe Castle and Duntally Wood Nature Reserve lie even further south, worth adding to your itinerary.

Complete your getaway by reaching the renowned Glenveagh National Park, peppered with walking, and cycling trails, picturesque loughs, and the pretty Glenveagh Castle, perfect for touring before hiking towards Astelleen Burn Waterfall.
