“The attention to detail in the decor was outstanding, whilst still maintaining comfort and cleanliness.”
Also, the jar of dog treats was a very nice touch. Very friendly and helpful owners.
I think I may have been the first to stay in this room, as appliances like the fridge and air dryer were brand new. This could account for the few oversights and 'teething problems'. The main one of these was that my TV wasn't working; so the owner, Sean, offered me use of the large room next door to me, also brilliantly decorated! An issue with WiFi was quickly fixed when I ran out of free data on my phone, which I was watching in place of TV.
One little oversight was the lack of plates, cutlery, etc - it wasn't really a big problem for me, as I wasn't doing much cooking and I did eventually track some down in the other room.
Aside from these minor issues, I had a very nice stay here. It was low season, so obviously pretty quiet, and that's exactly what I was after.
But it would be a fantastic place for a group of friends to 'book out', especially with the Blazing Saddles (a class wee pub!) only steps away; I imagine that would be great craic, especially in high season. I will definitely be revisiting N.I's Wild West again!
