The property

A superb detached cottage located only one mile from the bustling town of Killarney, County Kerry.

This Killarney cottage is furnished and decorated to an outstanding standard and is sure to feel like a home from home the moment you walk through the door.

The needs of a diverse group can easily be met at Fernwood, with four large bedrooms spread over two floors, three of which feature en-suite shower rooms, including the bedroom on the ground floor.

Chilly Irish evenings can be spent curled up in the cosy sitting room in front of the open fire, or enjoying games with the family in the spacious dining area.

Outside of the cottage, gated access and a large lawned area will make you feel safe while the children play, leaving the adults free to enjoy the Irish sun in the garden.

The nearby town of Killarney offers a bustling atmosphere, with a plethora of shops, restaurants and pubs to choose from, as well as being the starting point for a variety of tours along the Ring of Kerry.

Killarney National Park is not to be missed, which is easily explored on food, bicycle or by old-fashioned jaunting car.

Take a tour of Muckross House, a magnificent Victorian mansion and traditional farm that will be a learning experience for all the family.

Further afield, the towns of Kenmare, Dingle and Tralee are within easy reach and offer some of the most stunning scenery in the country.

Golfing, fishing, walking, cycling; the options really are endless in this picturesque are area of Ireland and this Killarney cottage is the ideal location from which to enjoy it all!
