Brandon Bay is just 10 minutes on foot, while hardier climbers can tackle Mount Brandon, at 952 metres Ireland's highest mountain outside of Macgillycuddy Reeks.

For a livelier excursion, take the exhilarating drive over the Connor Pass mountain road to the popular town of Dingle where you'll have your choice from a cornucopia of pubs and restaurants.

A drive around the Ring of Kerry and a day in Killarney are also unmissable!
