    “I was very happy with the cottage.”

    Since it was difficult to locate, the owner graciously met us in town and had us follow her back to the cottage. I also loved the fresh flowers on the table when we arrived. I highly recommend!!!

This delightful detached cottage is situated just a few miles from the popular town of Castleisland, and within easy reach of Tralee and Killarney, in County Kerry, with Ballyseedy castle 7.5 mies away.

The cottage has been thoughtfully decorated by the owner to ensure that guests have all the home comforts they might need.

There is a charming, spacious sitting room with a dining area and a cosy open fire, ideal for relaxing by on cooler evenings.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything to prepare delicious meals and it has a small dining area, perfect for breakfast.

Outside guests can relax on the patio to the sounds of the babbling stream as it passes the cottage.

The vibrant town of Castleisland boasts an array of traditional pubs, restaurants and shops, ideal for strolling around on a lazy afternoon.

There are plenty of attractions in County Kerry to enjoy.

Why not visit Killarney and take a drive to the Gap of Dunloe with its impressive views?.

There are lots of local walks including the Lyracrumpane Walk, Glangeenty Walk, Castleisland River Walk and the literary ramble in Listowel.

Alternatively strap up your boots and explore the delights of Killarney National Park, or visit the historic Muckross House or Ross Castle.

A little further afield, explore the famous Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula with its sandy beaches, sparkling waters and ever-changing coastal scenery, or alternatively a short trip on a ferry will unlock the stunning scenery to be found in County Clare.

The vibrant town of Castleisland in County Kerry is situated east of the town of Tralee and north of the popular town of Killarney and is home to both commercial business and traditional charm. Castleisland lies between the Glenaruddy mountains and the Stack mountains which defines the mouth of the Vale of Tralee. The town has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from and is within easy reach of plenty of popular tourist destinations including Killarney National Park, Killarney Lakes, the Dingle Peninsula, The Ring of Kerry with its endless sandy beaches, and of course the Wild Atlantic Way which encompasses Ireland's breathtaking coastline.
