    “Exceptional holiday property.”

    The host, John, met us when we arrived and was so very helpful and kind. Hes an absolute gentleman and has provided a beautiful home from home. It is an excellently equipped comfortable warm house with the best shower. We had a wonderful time in late November. The garden is enclosed which was perfect for our little dog. The property has beautiful views of Derrynane Bay. The area is so tranquil and peaceful with an excellent local beach and walking trails. Best holiday home we've stayed at ...

On warmer evenings at this Caherdaniel cottage, the lawned garden with patio area is the ideal place for you and your loved ones to enjoy some good wine, good conversation and good food from the BBQ, whilst taking in the magnificent views that surround you.

Take the short stroll into Caherdaniel village and visit the traditional tea rooms there or mingle with the locals in one of the welcoming pubs.

The Blue Flag beach of Derrynane is close by, where the children will love building sandcastles or you can go for a dip on warmer days.

Other places of interest nearby include Derrynane House and National Park, Staigue Fort and the Old Abbey.

The area is a walker's paradise with the Kerry Way close by, and the Ring of Kerry has plenty to offer for any age.

Caherdaniel is a traditional Irish village located on the south western corner of the 'Ring of Kerry' in County Kerry. The history of the village dates back more than 2000 years as copper was mined in the surrounding mountains. It has a magnificent coastal setting and is home to a horse trekking stable which offers horse riding on the beach. Caherdaniel is perfectly placed for exploring all of the attractions in this popular part of Ireland such as 'The Kerry Way', a popular, well-marked and very beautiful walking route. Less than 2 miles away lies Derrynane; with an abundance of sea sports, Derrynane House, and its National Park, it provides a wonderful day out for all the family.
